DSM IV 301.81

POLISH DANCE THEATRE PREMIÈRE NIGHT
Duration: 15 min

Description

DSM-IV 301.81 - Personality disorder, Type B. Narcissistic personality disorder is a personality disorder defi ned as a pervasive pattern of grandiosity (real or imagined), need for admiration, and a lack of empathy as well as inability to see things from the others' perspective. Strongly narcissistic people can sometimes feel as if they were standing behind a wall or pane that separated them from others, or have an impression that others are characters of a projected fi lm. It does not however constitute psychotic episodes, but is a metaphorical description of impressions narcissistic people get when confronted with other people.

DSM - IV 302.81" is a choreographic debut of Daniel Stryjecki, soloist of the Polish Dance Theatre, teacher during Open Classes and International Workshops of Contemporary Dance. Daniel Stryjecki is a professional dancer and a graduate of Wyższa Szkoła Bankowa in Poznan (Poznan School of Banking). He participated many times in the dance workshops Impulstanz in Vienna. He successfully designs and directs multimedia presentations and promotional spots for the Polish Dance Theatre.
