An excellent example proving that good music can defend itself on its own. In 2008, using money offered by fans, Julia Marcell (singer and composer Julia Górniewicz and live band), released the LP It Might Like You. Performed on string instruments, piano and drums the music is filled with the joy of playing whilst the singer's distinct voice is capable of guiding listeners into a state of active reflection. Julia Marcell experiments with the possibilities offered by instruments and with the voice to achieve organic sounds. She has dubbed her work "classical punk" and The Guardian has described her as "the person of tomorrow". She has performed in many countries in Europe.
