Filip Berte

Filip Berte (1976) is an architect. He also studied painting at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent. Between 2006 and 2007 he was an artist in residence within the Victoria (now CAMPO) platform which supported the work of six young artists over the period of two years. At the same time, he also worked as stage designer for Bena Benaouisse and Dito Dito. In 2008, he was a resident of the Existentie which brought together writers, critics and visual artists. It resulted in the Collective Memory Gallery project.
