A promenade performance inspired by William Blake's Songs of Innocence and Robert Browning's Porphyria’s Lover. A story of first love which pushes to murder, a ballad of exceptional visual power which carries the crowd away into the space of a procession through the night and through the city, coloured with the mythical desire to stop time and to take vengeance. The performance pulsates with music, light and the artists' impressive feats as they explore both public space and entertainment; the latter perceived as a primitive show in which observation also carries the weight of involvement.
