Fundament RuinaANNA CZARNOTA / MIKA GROCHOWSKA
In the centre of Poznań Anna Czarnota and Mika Grochowska have found an abandoned, deprived and neglected site where they will create an installation that will help the city retrieve this forgotten area. However, the project will not be possible without the viewer's assistance. The viewer's action or lack of thereof will actually determine whether the site will change or not. Consequently, it will be up to the residents who take part in the project to have an effect on the look of the space around them. They will be able to really build/rebuild a place for themselves. The authors ask: can devastation and ugliness, in addition to boredom, be a good foundation for activity, not only within the framework of the determined artistic work, but also for all of us in our everyday lives? It will be possible to join the project on all the Festival days.
