"The Blues: Feel like going home" - POLISH PREMIERE
Feel Like Going Home (2003), or films like The Last Waltz (1978) and Woodstock (1970) are considered "work with a mission", they are intended to be tribute to great musicians of the world. Feel Like... was produced as the first part of The Blues series, a seven-episode documentary cycle prepared for PBS television. Dedicated to commemorate the archetypal kind of blues originating in the 1920s America: the Delta Blues, it features performances by such legends of the vein, as Corey Harris, John Lee Hooker, Son House, Salif Keita, Habib Koité, Taj Mahal, Ali Farka Toure, Otha Turner, Muddy Waters, Keb' Mo', Willie King or Lead Belly. It also contains an interview with Toumani Diabate, guest of this year's edition of the ‘MALTA'.
