SlagsmalsklubbenCONCERT IN FESTIVAL CLUB
|Normal price:||admission free|
Slagsmålsklubben have been dubbed Sweden’s craziest electropop group. The band’s name (often abbreviated as SMK) is a comical and literal translation of Chuck Palahniuk’s novel, Fight Club. Slagsmålsklubben began playing together in 2000 and have released four studio albums. As 50 Hertz and Häxor och porr, their side projects, they featured on Björk’s Army of Me: Remixes and Covers (2005). The band members openly admit that they cannot really play any professional instrument and use simple synthesisers, drum machines and samplers on stage. Their music is a combination of catchy electropop rhythms and 8-bit tunes from computer games so it is no surprise that their simple and light sound has captured the hearts of today’s thirty and forty-year-olds raised on 1970s and 80s pop culture. Slagsmålsklubben concerts are a guarantee of an absolute rave.
