Ojisan Milk Bar
|Address:||ul. Szewska 15, Poznań|
Situated at Szewska Street, the tiny bar attracts attention before you even come in owing to a huge portrait of Mao Zedong hanging above the front door. It could seem that Ojisan (meaning “uncle” in Japanese) specialises in oriental dishes; their main speciality, however, is folly, adventurousness and laid-back manners. You never know what will be on the menu: delicious pasta and beef on some days and on others – scrumptious cake with ice-cream or the most peculiar shrimp salad. Information about dishes served on a given day is provided on Facebook. Another attraction is the fact that you will not be given a bill. You leave the money due in a special bowl on your way out taking change, if necessary, by yourself.
